It would have to be the one on the left.I could wear black tights and black boots and a nice cardi and belt with it and it might actually look quite good!

The one on the right. I really think I could pull off the one on the left better, but certain color combinations give me bad migraines. And that would be the left one.
And if I must wear it in public, hello spontaneous costume party!

The Matthew Williamson one. With a faux fur gilet, tights, slouchy boots and a big floppy hat. If you’re going to wear it, you may as well go all out.

I’d go for the one of the left. As people above me have said, you could make it look almost presentable with the right shoes and a belt.

I’d go for the musty ancient gown, though I’d add a belt if that’s permitted and try and make it look more Victorian (or Edwardian or whatever). The one on the left reminds me of crimplene things in the seventies that I think were called “house dresses”.

I’d wear the one on the right, whilst pretending I’d got a role in Jane Eyre as Bertha Mason. That way I’d have an excuse if anyone asked me why I’m dressed as a mad woman.

You might put me in jail but actually I OWN the same outfit (OK, not the same but with short sleeves and slightly shorter hemline). I absulutely LOVE IT. The pattern is much more colourful in real life, the picture is a bit deceiving
