Katie Holmes in stirrup tights and leggings

Spl59258_0021

Well, that’s certainly one way to sex up the kind of outfit you might otherwise wear to a dull office job. We’re not saying it’d necessarily be our way, of course: Katie Holmes here looks a bit like she got dressed and was just ready to leave when she thought, "Crap! Too boring! Must add edginess", so slung on the stirrup tights and studded sandals.

Close-up of the shoes and tights under the jump. What do you think of this look?

  1. Arielle says:

I do love the shoes. I hate the stirrups though.

  2. natalia says:

I agree.. Love the shoes :) but the tights need to go. I know how Katie is a trendsetter, but if people start wearing these…

  3. Natasha says:

Hate the shoes, hate the tights. I find this outfit scarier than the voodoo dolls from the previous post, and that’s saying A LOT!

  4. Anna says:

    I think no.

  5. J. says:

Not much of a fan – I think the stirrups and the strappy heels look quite ridiculous.

  6. Emily says:

I think it looks great til you see her feet. Its like she lost her boots that look great with this outfit and grabbed the first thing she could see instead!

  7. Cissy says:

It’s horrendous. I’m not a fan of “gladiator heels” in just about any situation, but especially not with stirrup tights. If you want to add edgy to an outfit like that, I think a pair of fantastic boots are a better way to do it.
