Save or Splurge: Green tie-waist tops
This edition of ‘Save or Splurge’ is a little bit different from normal because neither of the two items above is designer, and so neither price is of the “make you faint in horror” variety. The Monsoon top on the right, however, is more than twice the price of the Dorothy Perkins version on the left, and while there are obvious differences between them (the Monsoon top is silk while the Dotty P’s one is satin, for instance) we’d still like to know which one you’d buy, if, indeed, you’d buy one at all.
Would you save or splurge?
I’d splurge on this one – the style is much nicer and it looks like it would fit better. Besides, silk for $55???
55 *pounds* I’m afraid – about $85. Although if it was $55, that would rock!
I wouldn’t buy either, I’m just not a “silk/satin” type of person. But the save is quite a good deal, particularly when you could just buy a navy blue sash and have essentially the same look as the splurge.
Splurge – the £55 looks worth the money, while the £22 doesn’t.
