Dress of the Day: Green frill-edge dress from Dorothy Perkins

green dress Dress of the Day: Green frill edge dress from Dorothy Perkins We’ll be honest: we’re not 100% sure about this dress. It looks fabulous in the pictures we’ve seen of it on the model (but then, that’s what we’d expect because, d’uh, she’s a model!), and we love the colour, of course, but something about the frills at the bottom just doesn’t sit quite right with us, and we think we’d have to try it on to really make up our minds about it.

For those of you who have no such qualms, though, and who think this would be the perfect dress to swish around in during the party season, this is £45 from Dorothy Perkins, even although it’s new in this week, a lot of sizes are already sold out online, so you might want to get in quickly with your order.

  1. I love the colour, I love the style and I HATE the material. It looks like it is made from green gardening bags. If it didn’t look like it needs a damn good iron, I’d be tempted and I love the potential movement around the bottom of the skirt.

  2. Where the blinkin’eck can I get hold of the Dorothy Perkins green frill edge dress that you featured as dress of the day Nov 28th 2008? Please do not say eBay! Tanks for any suggstions
