Friday Fun: cow wellies

Cow_wellies We seem to have had a bit of a “things kids like” theme here on The Fashion Police today, what with the Barbie jewellery and the My Little Pony boots, and even although it was unintentional, we thought we’d continue it by showing you these “cow face” Wellington boots.

These aren’t actually made for children, but we reckon they’d be loved both by kids themselves and by those who like to indulge in the Dress Like A Toddler Trend. And maybe some of the rest of us, if we happened to be in need of a bit of lighthearted Friday fun.

These are $29.95 and available from Amazon.

  1. I love printed wellies, but have an aversion to googly eyes. Which way are they looking?!

  2. peachfish says:

I actually kind of love them. Not that one ever needs them where I live.

  3. Lizzie says:

I love wellies so much!! They’re the kind of shoes that say “oh, i don’t take myself so seriously!”. I think these cow-printed ones are amazing if you work around children and stuff, you can create a special day in which they could all draw their favourite wellie-pattern, or something like that.

  4. Rock Hyrax says:

I particularly like the way the cow looks like it’s smiling (see front view at Amazon).
Sadly (or maybe fortunately), like Peachfish I don’t live in a place where you need wellies – I still haven’t worn the ones I bought two years ago for the car when I was travelling to work across areas that were getting flooded.

  5. Panthera says:

I don’t think I have the confidence to wear them, but I think they’re cute. I can’t seem to find a pair of wellies I can actually wear which is a problem since I don’t live in an area where you don’t need wellies. Grumble grumble peachfish and rock grr.
