Sarah Jessica Parker’s two-tone tights: a new trend?
At first, we thought it was just some kind of shadow on the picture. But we checked all of the other photos in the set and nope, Sarah Jessica Parker really does appear to have two-toned legs, as if she pulled on a pair of cycling shorts over her tights. Closer inspection, however, leads us to believe that the tights themselves are designed to create just that effect, which is kind of a shame, because we love everything else about this look, but now all we can think about when we look at her is "cycling shorts over tights". Meh.
What about you? Do you think these nylons add anything to the outfit, or do they merely detract from it? There’s a close-up of the tights in question under the jump…

It looks like she’s wearing control top hose that are showing way too much. the dress is ute, but I don’t like that jacket…thing..she’s wearing with it.
It looks like a pair of my grandma’s control-top nylons where the “control” part has sagged down below her hem.
They look like short semi-sheer leggings over tights.
The shoes are fabu, but I ain’t feelin’ the tights.
Maybe it would’ve been better if the darker part of the tights was on the bottom, and the lighter on top.
Loose the jackets and the tights and the look would be fantastic. i agree, they do look like control top tights showing too much. it distracts, as does the jacket.
I bought a similar version last summer at silkinabox.com but probably muchos cheaper then hers… they called ‘William’ and I paid less than 20,00 for them!! Don’t know if they still have it though.
I think they look like cuttoff leggings over tights.
It looks like my tights, when ive been wearing dr martens. Then they get all weird around the ancles..
