Dress of the Day: Sara Berman sequin front tunic dress

sara berman Dress of the Day: Sara Berman sequin front tunic dress Sequin-covered dresses are the kind of thing you have tread very carefully with. Many of them are fashion-criminals-in-waiting, and if you get it wrong, you can end up looking like a cruise ship singer or a Vegas showgirl. Which is fine if you’re in one of those professions, of course, but otherwise not such a great look…

We think this simple tunic by Sara Berman represents the right way to wear sequins, though: the no-frills design makes up for the high-shine front, and the dress looks anything but cheap – which is a good thing given that it’s £229.

  1. I prefer the black version – there’s something about the gold (or “stone” as they call it) that makes me think of seventies/eighties sci-fi series wardrobes.
