This poodle handbag is sold in a section of the designer’s website called "Unusual and Bizarre". We think those are both fair assessments, don’t you?
Of course, bags shaped like pooches are nothing new, but the realisism of this one (which is also available in black, by the way) makes us think of taxidermy, and consequently freaks us out. If you like to be the centre of attention, though, we reckon walking down a busy street with what appears to be a dead dog slung over your shoulder is a sure-fire way to do it, no?

well, I guess its an easy way of getting the Paris Hilton “I’ve got a really cute little dog” look without actually having the hassle of a really cute dog. And you can put stuff in it. What more could you possibly want?

I uh… I like it. I think it’s beautifully made, along with the other things on the site. I WOULDN’T use it (nor even think about purchasing it, at that price) because I think it would be a very strange item but as an artistic object I think it’s lovely!
These clearly are for the wannabe Paris Hiltons of the world who can’t put real dogs in their purses because they’re allergic to them.
