Office make baskets for the feet

Feet_baskets Ye-es. We’re not even sure what to say about these, to be honest, other than that they look like the kind of thing peasant women might have woven from old fishing nets in a bid to beat the credit crunch. We had no idea the financial crisis was so severe!

Anyone like these? If so, what would you wear with them? Tell us, we’re curious. Oh, and if you like them enough to want to buy them, you’ll be pleased to know they’re also available in bronze and are £70 from Office.

I do like them…in black. They may actually be baskets, but from a slight distance, they look like fishnet, which I’m actually a fan of…So, I’d wear them with a knee length leather pencil skirt (if I could find such a thing) and something nice and fitted on the top, like a satin teal camisole and a black cinched blazer…something very italian looking. Furthermore, with the mesh look, that peeptoe on a bootie isn’t so offensive.

I really like the cut and shape of the shoe but would have to see them on to know whether or not I liked the netting look.

I’m with gokarm and Arielle–I like them. The shape is really pretty. I’d probably pair them with a long, full, swishy skirt and a kind of light flowy top (I’m good with descriptive words, eh?) and take that peasant thing and run with it. Only, not literally.

Make that four in the “like them” camp. Not sure how I’d wear them, but I like the idea of them. Surely there’s someone creative out there who would love these to bits and style them up nice.

Those are really cute. I’d wear them with some dark skinnies and a t-shirt around town. And you could wear them with a semi-formal dress in the evenings.

Hmmm… I’ll break the chain–I don’t like them. I have some wicker chairs with that exact same pattern on them. Also, think of the lines that would be left on your feet after you took them off. yeek!

Personally I think they are revolting!
Why would you wear a fishing net on your feet?
And your feet would get pretty cold…

Hmm I don’t know…they look as though they might look nice on the foot, just…not so nice on display 😛

I’d like it if it didn’t have an open toe. I’m opposed to open-toes shoes.
