Katie Holmes managed to get us all talking during rehearsals for her Broadway play All My Sons, by turning up each day in a seemingly endless collection of jeans, but if you thought the fashion show was over now the show has opened, think again. Here’s Katie on opening night, with her usual Tom Cruise accessory and wearing … well. It’s a kind of ‘genie suit’ isn’t it? One with cuffed pants and a black lace insert at the top.
So, just to confirm, that’s white satin + black lace + cuffed pants + Tom Cruise. When we add that little lot up we get "not her greatest look" as our answer, but hey, we’re cops, not mathematicians, so we’re interested to hear what you think of this look on Katie Holmes. Should we let her off (after all, she’s been looking pretty cute lately, it has to be said), or is this an arrestable offence?

Oh my God — I thought she’d suddenly started sprouting Hair in All the Wrong Places! Or got some weird rash.
This look is too weird for words. Why on earth couldn’t she wear the jumpsuit on its own? Even that wouldn’t have been the best look, but at least it would have been better than this bizarro getup.
It’s as if Tom Cruise is wearing sunglasses at night to shield his eyes from Katie’s outfit.

i am disappointed.
At first I was feeling disappointed by Katie’s new casual (read: shlumpy) look, but now I am just confused. I LOVED her Jackie O take, with the long plaid skirts, wide leg pants and the Birkin. But ever since she modified by the bob it’s been downhill, in my opinion.
Is it just me or are Katie and Tom starting to look creepily similar with the hair?
This outfit is all kinds of wrong. Clearly shes had some sort of clothing labotomy!
Apparently she designed it herself which doesn’t exactly make it better, it just shows that she shouldn’t quit the day job… actually having seen some of the reviews for the play, maybe she should…
