How not to wear lace…
Last week, when we were discussing the current trend for all things lace, we said that, when it’s done right, lace can look fantastic, but when it’s done wrong… well, when it’s done wrong, you end up with something like this.
This dress was reported to us by a mystery correspondent, who said, "I feel awkward just looking at this dress…"
Yes, us too. But probably not half as awkward as the poor model felt wearing it – we can only imagine the scratchiness of that thing, to say nothing of the, er, see-throughness of it!
Now my nipples are itchy.
Hmm, it IS rather awkward. I guess we could all get naked, grab a net curtain and finish off the ‘look’ with a random belt. It’s winter’s equivalent of a wet t-shirt comp!
That’s what give lace a bad name!
