i love lace! it’s flattering and can add class to just about anything you wear. i have a dress that has lace on the top and, although i was hesitant to wear it at first, i got A LOT of compliments when i wore it.

I like lace. A lot, actually, especially the cream-to-tea-stained coloured variety.

leggings: no frigging way.
Dress: reminds me of the drag outfits that Monty Python wore in their “housewives” sketches.
Other dress: get rid of the shoulder wings and we’ll talk. Especially if the black fabric is a thick jersey.
Shoes: Love ‘em with charcoal pinstripe dress pants and a knit top.

Not keen on it. Black lace always reminds me of funerals, white of Madonna. I like the shoes though.

sure, I like lace too. I don’t wear it often because I don’t care for wearing high maintenance fabrics, and lace is one of those. It’s nice to look at though

Yes, cheap lace really does look cheap. For that reason I tend to steer far far away from it (my budget is basic) But I do have a lovely Edwardian lace stole inherited from a distant relative – I’ve actually never worn it, because I’ve never had the occasion… Perhaps this is the season to get it out?
