Comments closed on this one as it started to attract a lot of abuse in response to Elle’s “slapper” comment. I’d appreciate it if people could try and express their opinions without name-calling, including branding people who happen to like a particular item “slappers”. Play nice, folks.

Ha ha, my friends and I were just talking about this. We have such grand ideas for costumes throughout the summer, but then somehow Halloween sneaks up on us and we’re costumeless. So we end up slapping some ears on with a cute dress. Terrible!

Well, that’s me told then. I’m clearly a “slapper” because I can’t be bothered dressing up for Halloween, so I always go for the lazy option too. Note to self: must make huge amount of effort this year…

Yeah, and you’d go to a party, and every other slapper in the vicinity will have the same ‘outfit’
C’mon…a little more effort goes a long way.
