Cuff ‘em! Strange skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins

skinny jeans cuffed Cuff em! Strange skinny jeans from Dorothy Perkins Behold, the bastard love-child of skinny jeans and jogging pants! Never should the two have been permitted to breed, but Dorothy Perkins have thrown them together as part of some vile experiment, and this is the outcome.

They call them "shirred skinny jeans". We call them, "denim jogging pants", and while they’re far from being the worst fashion transgression we’ve seen this year, we’re sad to say we don’t have a lot of love for them. Let jeans be jeans and let jogging pants be jogging pants, we say. Never the twain should meet, because when they do, the result is the cuffed jean, and no good can come of the cuffed jean.

What do you think of these, readers? Would you wear them?

  1. I don’t understand why they would make them?
Surely they’d be uncomfortable, as well with that denim bunched at the ankles?
At least they didn’t go all out, and put on an elasticated waistband too!

  2. It’s like the worst fashion trends together. Light denim and those pants that people used to wear that were weird animal prints or football (American) colors. I’m trying to think why on this as the jeans don’t look that skinny. The only explanation I can come up with is to help keep them tucked into boots.

  3. i have theese, but from new look, which are darker, and the denim isnt very denimy, or hard denim, more like baggy jeggings, which i know isnt a very good description :P
but i like them as i can wear them out and be comfortable in baggy trousers, without looking like i’m in my PJ’s, like if i wear my fat man pants, and i can get my legs out without wearing those really really short shorts, as i have thunder thighs, and thats not a good look on me :)

they’re not that bad, but finding shoes to go with them is proving very difficult!!
