Coat Corner: Bow back tail coat from ASOS
As the fashion press keeps on telling us, this is the season of the "statement coat", and this one by ASOS is certainly making a statement all right. Whether that statement is one you want to endorse or not is up to you, but we love the deep purple colour of this, and that "tail" will certainly help it stand out from all of the other "statement coats" around this season. Because there seems to be an unwritten rule in fashion right now that every single item must come with a bow, this has one on the back. It's £100 at ASOS and is apparently "in the style" of Sienna Miller, who you can see wearing one just like it here.
Love love LOVE this. Damn you - am trying to save for a laptop, not coats :P

I already have a bright blue coat, not sure I need two bright coats.... maybe they have this in black... I'll go and see....

I love the color, but I feel like having the bow in back and the tie in front is a bit too much

They had something VERY similar to this in Topshop a few weeks ago which sold out within about 3 weeks.
It also was Purple, had a bow on the back, was very full skirted & flouncy...I think Asos have been plagerising...
