We don’t suppose we’ll surprise many of you by admitting we’re partial to the odd bow or three, and last time we wrote about bow headbands, a la Blair Waldorf, we were feeling pretty good about the trend. Since then, though, the bows have gotten out of control. They’ve super-sized themselves until it’s all bow and hardly any "band", and now we’re uncomfortably reminded of Minnie Mouse every time we set eyes on them. This hasn’t happened often, mind you: we keep seeing these for sale in various places (the ones shown on this page are both from Topshop), but we’ve yet to see anyone actually wear them. Have you? Would you? Are the oversized bows your scene or do you think it’s all getting just a little bit out of hand?
I wouldn’t buy it but I would make something similar myself. I am loving bows of every size!
Jamie Winstone wore one a while back. Love it but dont think it would go down well in my backwards small town and I get enough stares without supersizing my bows!

I’m not a fan of the bow in the hair trend. It’s too cutesie and an obvious trend. Anyone who wears the look is immediately tagged as a “Gossip Girl”. Some might not have a problem with that, but I sure as hell would.
I would make it myself! I love it. You only live once just have fun with life!
