Dress of the Day: Short black dress by Jovani

Jovani_black_dressThe little black dress. It can stand accused of being boring unless you add a little something extra – and why not make that “something” a whopping great bow in bright red? That’s what Jovani have done with this short black dress of theirs, placing the bow under the bust and tying it to one side, at the back, just to be different. Yes, you’ll look a little bit like an early Christmas present in it, but at least you’ll be a prettily wrapped one.  This is $440 and available from eDressMe.

it’s okay. but not worth $440. I would spend that money on something I could wear more often.
not related to the topic of the dress, but doesn’t that model look a bit like Angelina Jolie? :]

  2. Natalia – yes! I thought that too, glad I’m not the only one!

  3. Beatnik says:

It looks a lot like Chelsey’s winning dress from the last challenge before the finale on Project Catwalk, Season 3. The dress she made for Kelly Osborne with the giant cream-coloured bow in the back.

  4. Luve says:

It’s a lovely dress, but what’s wrong with her shoes?? They look so scruffy…

  5. Beatnik says:

Oooh, you’re right! I never noticed the shoes before. Hmmm…now that’s all I can see.
