The fascinator is an aspect of Gothic fashion so given the spill overs from that realm in recent months it is unsurprising to find it turning up in the mainstream too. However, it does not work at all if divorced from the other elements of Victorian garb that comes with true Gothic style. This will only work if you are in a corset and have a full skirt, preferably in brocaded black or in a russet/maroon/plum.

I actually see the point, but its too small (Nobody can pull it off, without me thinkin “how the hell does it stick to her head?”)
I do see the vision behind it.. But it just wont work.. and more people are going to buy it, than wear it.
Because very few people will wear it in public (I think) ..Because when putting it on at home in front of the mirror, u just have that weird gut feeling that this isnt going to work..
