Fashion Band Aids: Swarovski Crystal Bling Band Aids from Charles & Marie

Swarovski_band_aid_2

Those Swarovski crystals have been getting everywhere recently, most notably in our eyes and on our contact lenses. This use of crystal is just a little more wearable, though, with four little sparklers embedded onto each of these band aids, which are $12 per pack from Charles & Marie.

This model is certainly making her band aid look cute, but do you pay much attention to the appearance of your medical supplies, we wonder, or is it function all the way, with no room for glitz?

It brings to mind that stupid band aid fashion trend a few years back…who was it, Nelly? Yeah, my biggest concern with band aids is just that they stay on. (cheap ones aren’t sticky enough)…but cosmetic additions like that? No.

Yes, I’ve got to agree with Gokarm. Also, I imagine you could probably do this yourself, if you were so inclined!

  3. JC says:

Ok, is it just me or is it starting to feel like a bunch of people at Swarovski had a little too much to drink and just thought ‘hey lets see how many random items we can throw a few crystals on..you know..just for funsies’

  4. Glamfille says:

Looking forward to see Swarovski crystals embedded toilet paper.

I hate to defend something so silly and unnecessary, but…
I do know that a number of workplaces do not allow employees to have visible facial piercings at work, meaning that employees either have to remove their studs or cover them, usually with band aids. I could picture some attempting to make their cover ups a little more stylish with these crystal-studded band aids.

    Nelly will be pleased.
He can have eveningwear plasters to go with the rest of his crap bling.
