There’s no easy way to say this. We know Celia Birtwell’s an iconic designer and all, but seriously: that is an ice-dance costume on the top left of the picture, isn’t it? And that is a belly-window on the dress on the right, no? It doesn’t get much better under the jump, either…

And again with the "ice dance" look. What’s with that, we wonder? In conclusion, as the title says, we’re not fans, but we know someone out there will love these, and see them as the perfect chance to own a Celia Birtwell dress for circa £70, so if you’re that someone, you’ll want to check these out over at Topshop. Do tell us what you yhink of them first, though…

I actually quite like the top left dress! Maybe the satin material could go amis, that does make it look like it should be on Dancing on Ice, but other than that I like it!
I’d really like the belly hole one if it didn’t have the freakin’ belly hole. The other three…blech.
Love the top left, would love to wear it with a pair of white tights (or stockings!) and a pair of black patent mary jane shoes!
I wouldn’t wear any of them, that’s for sure.
I think they’re pretty hideous.
Am I the only one who thinks “medieval princess costume” when they look at the top-left? All that’s missing is the conical hat with veil thing draping from the top – oh wait, we’re in Top Shop – just get a pierrot hat, rip the bobbles off and you’re almost there…
D:
I see nipples in the top right dress! So it’s a Shress as well! That makes it doubly no-no to wear!
The top right dress could almost be wearable with a cami and leggings under. Almost.
is it just me or does the top right dress look like a pregnant model/mennequin is wearing it?
They’d look addorable on children, or make sexy Summer nightgowns.
The other two would look fine with black pants.
