Wear or Die: Moon Spoon Saloon
This week's edition of Wear or Die is brought to us by new fashion label Moon Spoon Saloon. While some members of the fashion blogging fraternity are currently applauding Moon Spoon Saloon for being "different" and "intriguing", there are others who, while acknowledging this to be the case, are simply looking at their work and saying, "Hey, if people were forced to wear one of these outfits or die, I wonder which one they'd choose?"
Guess which group we're in?
So, which outfit will you choose, folks? The puffy clown suit on the left or the little leather number on the right? The choice is yours, you lucky, lucky people!

Oh sh*t..
I keep thinkin' stick to the leathery thing, but to flash my stomach is a bit much, with all the embarresment i would feel already..
The puffy one, however is just too scandalous, but I am going on the thought that people would just assume I had been in a coma since the 80's, so im picking the poofy clowny one, with that in mind..

well...
The leather one is bad for several reasons...
1. it is made out of leather. Need I say more?
2. The coulours are just wrong, wrong, wrong - they have no harmony whatsoever. And the pattern is hideous
3. the shape of the thing.
The other one (which I can only imagine is made of curtain material) Is wrong for similar reasons.
1. it is made out of curtain material.
2. The colours are wrong and the pattern is fugly as hell.
3. The shape of the thing. The top is tucked into the trousers... Which have an ELASTICATED waistband.
Therefore I am having great difficulty in choosing one.
I think it would have to be the curtain fabric one - I don't think it would be fair on the outside world to see my stomach...(at least not until I have managed to do a few more sit-ups...)
Notice how the model looks as though she is about to cry...

I think i'd have more fun in the clown suit. It appeals to my prop comedy sensibilities. I could pretend i'm made of 4 or 5 balls and bounce everywhere...or pretend I'm in a circus war fighting against the commie trapeze artists. Or um...stand in front of a curtainless window and scare the crap out of anyone who passes by. I could lay down on the discount table at a fabric shop and giggle as some 80 year old crafter tries to pick me up...What I WON'T be doing is strutting myself down some street pretending to be hot stuff in this...although strutting ironically would be pretty hilarious :D

Oh. Oh my. You know, while they're certainly not fashionable or pretty, they're not really ugly, either. Maybe I wouldn't say that if they became popular... but I sort of like 'em in a sick, twisted way. They don't look quite real. But, uh, I really don't want to wear either. I guess I'd go with the clown suit, unless I'm allowed to wear a shirt with the leather one.

The leather one with a shirt underneath so my stomach wouldn't be exposed.
Those are both fugly and unflattering to the extreme though.

I choose death

These are quite possibly the ugliest garments I have ever layed eyes on. However, my sheer will to live forces me to make a choice. Damn you, life!
The two-piece leather hideousity, then? I could wear something underneath, put on a motor helmet and pretend I'm just touring the country on my Harley. Yes, I think that's relatively plausible. Please ignore my spasms of embarassment, world.

I'm going with with the non-leather one. That way I could go skydiving and not have to wear one of those pesky parachutes.

I hate clowns and I certainly don't want to look like one. Besides, any outfit that can make an anorexic model look like she has thunder thighs is NOT an outfit for me. So as much as I hate leather clothing, I'd have to go with the dead cow outfit. I grew up in the "crop top" era of the early 70s, so I can live with the exposed midriff much more than I can live with enhanced thunder thighs.
I must say, though, that I almost chose death just because of the gathered ankle.

The leather one. I'm not saying it would be pretty, but I think it's a bit prettier than the one on the left. And less attention-getting (if that is even possible)

I choose the puffy clown suit.... if I´m going to dress horrific, at least I want to be comfortable...

The one on the left. I'd wear it with a ruff and pointy shoes, and paint my face like a harlequin doll. Then I'd hide in bushes and scare children.

Wow, best wear or die ever! I'd have to choose death but Steph's idea made me choke laughing!
I did that one Halloween :) Not in that outfit though, the one I got from the costume shop was less embarrasingly hideous!

*embarrassingly = i can spell honest ;)

I am tempted to chose certain death...
I tend to get migraines when looking at certain bad color combinations, so I definitely could not wear the leather number. I love the other Steph's idea with the equally hideous clown suit. My friend hates clowns, so I'd love to show up on his doorstep in this outfit with my face made up.

WHAT
Oh this one is tough. Maybe the first puffy clown outfit.
No. I'll choose death.

I choose death. I would rather be buried in something pretty than wear something like that.

Gah! I want to brillo pad my eyes... I would have to wear the clown suit because I'm a vegetarian. But I would most likely still die from the embarrassment.

I'm going with the dead cow outfit. Because it has pockets. Which I think is the only positive thing I have to say about either outfit.

I choose die

I'd take the one on the left. If I have to wear shomething that hideous I might as well be comfortable.
