Alexander McQueen’s Union Jack mohair sweater

alexander mcqueen sweater Alexander McQueens Union Jack mohair sweater Hey, kids, look what granny knitted you for Christmas this year!

Whoops, sorry, our mistake: it’s by Alexander McQueen, and it’s $1,030. Which makes us think granny maybe missed a trick here: and that if we could only find the pattern and some mohair/nylon, we’d proably give up fashion policing and start churning out loud mohair sweaters instead. At that price, it has to be more profitable.

Of course, the amount of profit you could make on your Union Jack sweater would depend on how many people were actually willing to buy it. So, whaddya say, readers? Anyone want to place an order for one of these? Is it something you’d wear, do you think?

  1. @ Kuri – that’s exactly what I thought! If I was paying over £1,000 for a sweater, I wouldn’t expect nylon to be involved!
@ Natasha – it just has “Agyness” stamped all over it, doesn’t it? Boy, but that girl has a lot to answer for :)

  2. HaHa actually i have seen a picture of her wearing it lol
I love the jumper, i would buy it…if it were made of cashmere and 90% mark down on the price.
