Ugg boots: now available in camouflage. For, er, soldiers.
Thinking of going under-cover at the mall, or in the streets of your town this winter? Well, for God’s sake, don’t wear these: you’ll stick out like a sore thumb, as the only person wearing clomping great camo boots, while everyone else is dressed normally. We hope.
Don’t get us wrong, we don’t actually mind Uggs, it’s the camo we can’t stand. We reckon it really is only for the army, and we’d ban it from civilian use altogether if we could.
If you like these, they’re available for $139.95 at Nordstrom, who warn that they will only be allowing us to buy four pairs per household. Just what kind of households they were imagining here we can only imagine…
OK, I have to admit, I hate Uggs in general, so I’m biased. But these just look awful!
This combines two of my most loathed fashion fads. I predict they’ll be a hit here in Vancouver.
The hell? What were they smoking when they designed this?! What sicko said “oh, hey, let’s slap a fugly camo print on these big hulking boots! EVERYONE will be wearing them!”?!? I admit that I own a pair of uggs (it’s COLD here up North, ok?), but even I know where the line is drawn. And it was about 100 feet before these hideous boots showed up.
yeah – camouflage is hideous. My boyfriend bumps into people wearing it – deliberately – just so he can say afterwards “Sorry, I didn’t see you there…” Because it really should only be for the army.
Dear Fashion Police….
(whoever you are)
Our fashion police have a different set of standards when it comes to the Camo Ugg Boots. Some people can actually make these work, look cute, and also make a statement while wearing them. In fact, i belive they will be the next big hit! why do you think they are so pricey? besides….its whats in the Ugg boots that count
Love, Trendsetter
