Wanted: Oliver Goldsmith’s ‘Audrey’ sunglasses
The Fashion Police Commissioner has very light-sensitive eyes – so sensitive, in fact, that as far as she’s concerned, sunglasses aren’t just a summer fashion accessory, but an all-year-round investment. Or that’s what she tells herself when she finds cute glasses like these ones by Oliver Goldsmith and wonders if she really needs another pair of sunglasses enough to spend £195 on them.
Granted, this is a gorgeous, classic style (They’re probably not called ‘Audrey’ for nothing), but what do you think about designer sunglasses, Fashion Force? Worth a splurge, or would you rather save your pennies for something else?
I love them! I too have very sensitive eyes and like you do actually need sunglasses even in the depths of winter (or my eyes run).
I can’t wear cheaper, high street sunglasses because I am also very short-sighted (I get all the luck, eh!) so it has to be proper prescription sunglasses. So yeah, designer sunnies – if I had enough money, I’d have a pair for every day of the year…
I’m with you on sunglasses being a year-round accessory. Even on overcast days if I’m not wearing any I’m all squinty and irritable.
And I think these are worth the splurge, definitely.
Ah, at last, people who are like me! I carry my sunglasses with me everywhere, regardless of season or weather. Even days that other people don’t find bright at all will hurt my eyes. I get lots of strange looks from people who I’m sure think I’m pretending to be Anna Wintour or something, but I don’t care – I’d rather look like a fashion victim than not be able to see properly, especially when I’m driving!
I love them just for the fact that they’re called Audrey and look “Audrey”. But I can’t spend 195 bucks for an item I will forget at home every single time I need it. Sigh!

I love them!! I can´t wear cheap sunglasses either because they get me headaches.. so those are a very good excuse..
