How not to wear leopard print

leopard print crops How not to wear leopard print Our rule of thumb regarding animal print is that a little goes a long way. A very long way.

Another rule of thumb we’ve adopted recently is that animal print should never be pink. Or indeed, any bright colour that animals themselves wouldn’t wear.

Just for the hell of it, let’s add another rule to that mix. Let’s say animal print should stay the hell away from your thighs. It may seem arbitrary, we know, but animal print on thighs… it just doesn’t seem like such a great idea to us, you know?

By following rules, we believe it is possible to wear animal print responsibly. It won’t be possible to wear these pink, leopard print capris from River Island, of course, but hey, you can’t have everything, can you?

  1. I totally agree with you on this, im a leopard print fan but in moderation and never in pink! i tend to just stick with leopard print accessories, so belts, hair bands, underwear etc…the only time i would ever wear animal print tights is at fancy dress!

  2. I would totally wear them..well maybe not but I like them (and I myself own a pink leopard print sweater).
Rules are made to be broken;)

  3. Some girls in my year at school have jeans like this. And we’re sixteen and nearly in our last year of school…
You’d think people would actually see that these sort of things that look like ‘Cult’ Items from Primark are disgusting.

  4. What is the rule of thumb on how much animal print? My daughter says. “one item only” either shoes, purse, jacket, or dress, Never make a matching pair. is this true?

  5. I don’t mind the color, but I think those pants look really cheaply made and very unflattering! Maybe it’s just on me but can you imagine how fat you would look in those? I’m sure some people can pull off bermudas like that but i’m not sure if I’m one of them!
