Dress of the Day: Black big bow dress from Dorothy Perkins
For those days when only a little black dress will do, Dorothy Perkins have added a big ol’ bow to the front of this one, which could just leave you looking a little like a nicely-wrapped early Christmas present.
That aside, at £40 this is one of the more affordable LBDs around, and the bow taps into this season’s obsession with the things (no, it’s not just The Fashion Police who love them, apparently!).
This also available in a dark red, which we don’t like nearly as much, but which you may prefer as an alternative to stark black.

Yes, the picture really lets this dress down, I think – it does look better in real life, though!
