Shoe Porn: Faith’s Leopard print ‘Carbie’ pumps

Leaopard_print_pumps

We’re expecting this to be a fairly controversial edition of "Shoe Porn", because we know some of you loathe leopard print with the kind of passion we reserve for Crocs and harem pants. When we said last week that we think animal print can look good in (very) small doses, though, this is the kind of thing we were talking about. Faith’s ‘Carbie’ pumps are classic in shape, with the leopard print making them just a touch wild.  We think the print can look fabulous peeking out from underneath a pair of jeans, and the pink heel adds another touch of fun.

Of course, we don’t expect everyone to agree with us, but if you do, these are £50 at Faith, and also come in plain red, yellow and bright blue.

Like the print. I would’ve liked the shoes better if they had rounded toes and a higher heel, but they’re still very nice.

Never a fan of animal print, but the silhouette of this shoe is what ultimately irks me. Not quite rounded, not quite pointy… just meh.

Ugh. In my humble opinion, the leopard print doesn’t make them “wild”, it makes em tacky. They could look nicer if they had a round toe though. But this way they remind me too much of blond perms and solarium leather skin.
