Jean Paul Gaultier mates sandals with baseball boots, creates fashion crime

Gaultier_ankle_boots

Oh good God, what the hell is this? It’s… no, it can’t be. Surely it can’t be. It is, you know. Yes, it’s a… it’s a baseball boot shoved inside a high heeled sandal. It’s what happens when two very different styles of shoes decide to mate – or have the decision made for them by one Jean Paul Gaultier, who is responsible for this bastard lovechild of sneaker and stiletto.

These are $829 at Zappos, which may sound like a lot, but when you think about it, you’re actually getting four shoes for the price of two, no? No? Are we not convincing you here?

(Thanks to Simone for the report!)
