Surely one of the reasons for wearing a hat in high summer is to prevent sun damage to your hair? Kinda defeats the point when you have half of it sticking out of the top of your cap…

The problem is, this hat protects “poofy” bangs, the likes of which should not have been seen since 1992. One wonders why the wearer could not just stick with a visor. Is that cap cloth covering the rest of her hair really all that necessary?

Indeed. Most of the time it’s not just the bangs, either–it’s everything under the shape of the cap itself that gets flattened. Maybe if someone found a way to float the cap on top of the hair…
