When Bikinis go Bad

Fringed_bikini_2

You know, it should be pretty easy to design a semi-decent bikini. Or, at the very least, it should be easy to design a bikini that doesn’t have freakin’ fringes all over it, are you paying attention, Victoria’s Secret? Clearly this bikini was designed for riding them wild, wild waves (A joke we’re quite frankly surprised Victoria’s Secret didn’t succumb to themselves, given that they did allow themselves a "Ride ’em, cowgirl" in the product description), although, given that the fringes might slow you down a little in the water, we only assume that the top was actually designed for posing in, and for pushing your breasts together like a couple of coconuts.

A new swimwear trend in the making, we wonder?

Oh yeah. I have that suit. I thought everyone wore fringe to the pool. No?

I saw this actually…and had to run into a safe place. It’s a good thing Williams Sonoma is right near V.S. at my favorite mall. Or who knows? I could’ve been in tears from the frightening vision of FRINGE on a swimsuit. Of all things.

If I had a body like that, I’d still wear it. Just to show that I could.
