The dress print is blatantly ripped off from marimekko’s “Unikko” (poppy) pattern, and what’s more, after Marimekko’s taken legal action, D&G have countered by trying to CANCEL Marimekko’s copyright for their print they’ve been using decades before D&G was even establised. This kind of behaviour is so disgusting D&G will never be a respectable brand in my eyes again.

I’m really disappointed that you posted this obvious rip-off of Marimekko’s classic Unico print as the dress of the day. This should be listed under “Fashion Crimes”. Seriously.

The placement of those two flowers on the top and their ringed centers seem very strategically placed. Nothing says spring like aureoles!

The dress is lovely, but I hate that D&G blatantly ripped of Marimekko on the print.. Unusual for such a big fashion brand to so obviously plagiarise another. I’d rather go for the Marimekko originals..
