Yes i agree that Hot Topic isn’t exactly fashion..but if I could be a fashion designer it would be a line for Hot Topic because its my favorite store..and I absolutely love Perez and his designs above..they are amazing..but seriously can you people judge..I would love to see what kind of clothes you wear..Can I make fun of those? Can I have your permission? Oh wait I don’t need it just like Perez doesn’t need yours..so get a life..your just pissed that he is famous and more successful than you.hahaha

I like Perez and his design. especially those blue pants with combination of black shirts. i love it hope to see more of his design.. keep it up!

I dont think its a wise choice for him to do this. He often claims whats hot or not on his site, and most of the time, i wont be agree with him. He just sorta think that he has a ‘quirky’ in a good way sense of style. Well, perez, ure obviously wrong this time

I hate this guy with a burning passion. I agree with Amelia, I too spent 4 grueling years studying fashion design, and it’s a joke to see someone basically approve of something that someone else made and suddenly it’s theirs- especially when it’s some jerk who’s made his fortune out of the misfortune of others. Leave celebrities alone, and let them live in peace! As soon as the kiddies are over him, his career is toast.

Yeah, I like Perez and he seems really excited…and lets be honest, Hot Topic is NOT exactly the “fashion world”. But I was a little embarrassed when he broke the news, because it just DOESN’T seem like a wise decision. He does talk about fashion a lot, but he’s not usually right. On the other hand, he has always been VERY colorful in every way, and made a mark for himself as a bit of a fashion icon, way more so than Lauren Conrad, for instance. I dunno, as long as it doesn’t get out of hand, I’m okay with it.

This sort of thing really annoys me. I studied design at uni and it’s hard work. You cannot just say “I know what’s hot and what’s not! – therefore I’m a fashion designer” It shouldn’t work like that. It demeans the industry, the ‘real’ designers and everything that people like myself slogged for 4 years to learn.
Not to mention the horrendous creations these so called designers come up with. It’s just a marketing trick, which the buying public should be bored of by now.
OK, enough of my ranting – I’m going to cool off now…
