Dress of the Day: Boat neck dress by Moschino Cheap & Chic
The Fashion Police love us some boat necked dresses, and seeing as the fashion world is all about nautical style at the moment, we thought this little dress by Moschino Cheap and Chic should have its moment as Dress of the Day.
Of course, this dress gives only the vaguest nod towards "nautical style", with the tie collar: meanwhile, the duck egg blue background and beige polka dots are suitably springlike, while the shape is nicely retro.
And the price? Reduced to $390 at Net-a-Porter, so not exactly "cheap", but not enough to make you pass out with shock, either.
I looove this dress, but I´m not sure how would that colour look on me though..
I love it, and the colours are fabulous. The only thing I don’t like so much is where the dots get ‘cut in half’ with the princess line bodice… but maybe I’m splitting hairs… *or dots?*
sorry, but I have to say I think this dress is just TERRIBLE! it’s a style that only a little girl under age 6 should be wearing, and those colors are just vomitous– wouldn’t do a thing for anyone!!
I love that dress! I just wish I lived in the northern hemisphere where the weather was right for that sort of thing right now…
