We reckon the MET Costume Institute Gala is way better than the Oscars, purely in terms of fashion, so today we’re going to be bringing you some pictures of the stars coming out to play at the 2008 event. Your job is simply to tell us what you think of their outfits, kicking off with David Beckham and Joan Collins, whoops, we mean wife Victoria, above. Man, but Joan Collins is going to be pissed when she realises Victoria stole her style, no?
The first time I saw her picture from the MET I thought she looked just horrible, but on this one Victoria doesnt look THAT bad. (Trust me, the other picture looked a LOT more scary!)
Still, Kate Moss stole the show.. Her dress was just BEAUTIFUL!!
She looks great in an older sophisticated way that’s balanced nicely with that slit that gives the dress some edge. It’s nice not to see her all barbied up for once. Love the shoes.
Personally, this vintage Giorgio Armani coat dress looks quintessentially classy on Victoria. I really do. Though it does looks like it adds another 5 years to Victoria’s age but I don’t see the point of looking younger at a formal Gala. Love it!
I particularly don´t like anything about her on this pic. I have to say that I hate her style, cause she never looks natural, she´s always overtanned, the hair is always looking so straight, the clothes are too tight (not in this pic) and here the makeup, I don´t think she has the skin to pull the lipstick.
Victoria looks like a fake tanned vampire wearing a nightie from where I’m sitting!

Actually I kinda like Posh Spice. But that is only because she has a massive collection of Christian Louboutins (sigh) and Hermes Birkin Bags (more sigh). Other than that, this dress and look is a big no-no and fugging ugly.
She looks bloody awful; perma tan, white lace, up do and posed to within an inch of her life. She looks totally posed (that leg is always pushed forward) and her hair looks crap. She might have looked better if she’d smiled a bit. Scarlett and Kate Moss looked excellent and neither were posing in quite the same way.
