It’s always been our belief that these words should never appear together in the same sentence, and certainly never in a product description -it’s all just a wee bit more ‘Back to the 80s’ than we can deal with when sober. Miss Selfridge clearly beg to differ, though: they’ve just broken a run of fabulous dresses with their light acid wash boobtube which they’ll sell you for £40. Will you want to buy it, though, that’s what The Fashion Police want to know?

I am looking for a dress like this to purchase for my daughter for homecoming this year. The girl who won last year didn’t even have to show up. She wanted to go to a soccer game instead…by her choice. I want her to make a mockery of it this year. We spent a lot of $ on makeup, shoes, hair, and our nerves were shot. For no reason.
