We’re not totally convinced by the ruched band around the waist of French Connection’s ‘Lima’ dress, but the vivid purple colour and scooped neck have won us over, while we’d happily twirl around in that skirt all day long. Or until we were sick, anyway. This dress is £85 and is also available in black, but it’s the chocolate-box purple that wins it the position of Dress of the Day.
