Even although it's a pretty good match for her skin tone, and therefore looks a little bit like it's growing on her, we love this beautiful, beruffled dress on Cate Blanchett. And if we had any doubt at all that ruffles were the big evening-wear look of the season, well, we don't any more.
We don't hate it. In fact, there's nothing really wrong with it, as far as we can see. But somehow we can't seem to find any love in our hearts for this blue gown of Eva Longoria's, can you?
Bar Rafaeli
Don't you think Bar Rafaeli looks like $700,00 in this Chopard/Ferretti designed gown? She should do, because that's how much it's worth. Which makes us feel a little bit ill. Moving on...

Well, well, well, Mischa Barton in "looking pretty normal" shocker! She's wearing an Alberta Ferretti gown, and while it's not the most exciting dress in the world, you have to be grateful for what you can get with Mischa, so a pat on the back for this one.
So, what, no Fashion Criminals, Cannes? Well, not so far. But there's always tomorrow...

Cate Blanchet dress looks pretty good on her, though the colour isn´t too much of my taste.
Don´t like Eva´s colour dress plus the fabric looks kinda cheap.
Mischa´s colour dress suits her pretty good, but you are right, isn´t a glorious outfit.
Eva’s dress looks a bit like there is a train coming off of the crotch instead of from the back like normal. But yeah, it isn’t that bad.
Kate looks very glamourous and like a fairy-elf. I would’ve preferred it in a dusty pink/rose or deeper gold
Eva yeh, that “crotch train” gets me, the material & cut looks like a body shaper? Nice color, but maybe not her color. I vote for a violet or purple
Bar looks stunning, but she should! the neckline is lovely btw
Mischa kind of looks like she’s wearing a re-done 80′s prom dress, and the bangs are toooooo much, I think the dress would’ve suited a raven-haired beauty, and Mischa would’ve been better suited in sky blue
I think the crotch train looks a bit phallic. Not quite the feminine look she was going for.
Strangely, the dress that Bar Rafaeli is wearing was supposedly designed by Alberta Ferretti and Chopard together, presumably as a one-off, if it’s worth $700,000…yet, later on, at the AMFAR Aids benefit, Elsa Pataky, turned up in exactly the same dress…
