Ugly Prom Dresses: a roundup
Prom season means only one thing to The Fashion Police: the opportunity to round up more fashion criminals than we normally see all year. Read on for our look at the ugly side of prom, kicking off with that all-time classic: the pink meringue!
The Belly Dancer
The Pregnant Prom Girl: compete with "belly apron" to hide that bump!
The Vegas Showgirl
The Bahama Mama (we didn’t even change the name of this one…)
And finally…
The ‘If I Show Him My Boobs, Do You Think It’ll Make Him Love Me?’
Look out for more Ugly Prom Dresses later this week! (Or send us a link to one you’ve spotted!_
Haha woww that dress is awful!!
The funny thing is, the Boobs one is a dress that you can wear back-to-front if you want (which is what these girls are doing). Yeah, not so much.
And if I tried to choose any of these dresses, my mother would have rushed me off to get my head checked. Honest to goodness, those are frigging madhouse.
Wow, that top one is so obviously inspired by Barbie Swan Lake!!!! That is too creepy.
It seems the “Bahama Mama” one is featured in the film 27 Dresses. Poor Katherine Heigl..
I kinda like the first one.. but only as a costume.
This is so wrong… you’re like 16-17 when you graduate high school (in Quebec anyway) I’d never want my sister or my cousins wearing those last ones! They’d look like so TRASHY who designs these anyway.
who the f*ck even thought about these dresses???? and who the f*ck does not have the decent mind to even think about wearing these to the prom??? wear these and regret them forever…
how much is your pink puffy dress, right at the top of the page
dude omg man
THEY ALL SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahaha I love how the “Bahama Mama” is advertised as “as worn by Katherine Heigl in the film 27 dresses”
So basically, what they’re saying is “this is an ugly, ridiculous bridesmaid’s dress”…?
that top one……she looks like a gift bag with the tissue sticking out of the top!
I LOVE THE TOP PINK ONE
Its Soo Cute Im Even getting it for my prom this year!
I actually like the “Pregnant” one.
Maybe because I graduated in 1984, but I love all these except the Bahama Mama.
that first dress is so awesomely bad I would love to have it in my closet
I’d take it out when no one’s home and dance around, probably scaring the pets
That pink dress is apsolutally grotesk!
i wouldentt even wear it as fancy dress!
Next time make a nice one please xx
I would have LOVED the first one as a child! XD AWFUL prom dress though.
I actually really like the Show Girl one. I think it looks gorgeous on the model, very Cubanish. Probably not suited for a prom, but an exquisit dress on its own.
The pregnant one also I think is pretty good, again just not for a prom night. It would have made an awesome addition to Queen Amidala’s wardrobe!
The last ones are just…alien/sleezy…vomit quality.
The Belly dancer is also a very nice dress, I love it, but would not buy it for prom
Bahama mama….makes me crave a banana strawberry milkshake XD
those dresses are gross!!!! were in the world di you find them?!
Lol how can anyone wear such things?HOWEVER, the pink one is quite nice on occasion. eg: themed prom such as “think pink”. Thats my opinium..
omg i love the orange dress and the top one@!@@@
I Lovee The One At The Top!!!
Its Totally Amazing n i want it
i wud wear it every day!!
who the heck think of those dresses like for real. but i will wear the if i show him my boobs one but just for being sexy for someone.

some of these dresses are rediculous. They probably wouldn’t even let you in the prom with such open dresses.I didn’t go to prom yet i am going to have a baby i’m in High school

hi this website is so hip and hi vikki wuu2
Vikki/Borgan,
Given that you’re both using the same email address and posting from the same IP, it’s pretty clear that you’re both the same person. Which is sad, really.
Oh, and also? All those comments you’ve been trying to leave, calling me stupid names and ranting in text speak? Those will never be published here, so you’re wasting your time. Maybe come back in a few years, once you’re grown up, and try again…
how much is the pink prom dress at the top of the page ?x
hey. ive never been on this profile website but from a glance i fink the dresses you’ve made are so amazing there breathless well to me anyway…i’d love to own a dress as wounderfull as they are! do you do a magazine?? i’d love to see some more pictures of the dresses you make, as i do have a ball to go too and id love some idea’s?? can you help me?? wb asap emma x
LOL – I kinda like the Vegas showgirl–but not for a prom, for a photoshoot.
The second and third ones are creepy, and here’s why… Those are photos of real girls, but their heads are photoshopped off. It’s TERRIFYING.
Great site! Keep up the good work, I love these, what a hoot! Thankyou xx
The top one looks like a gift bag with tissue paper coming out the top.
They need more experience because I’m a fashion expert. When they think of dresses they have to think more creative. Personuly I think that they need more style not something that looks a bag with wrapping paper in it.
ok. “vegas showgirl” top, combined with if “i show him…” skirt, in a nice forest green. that would be a nice dress.
Love the first dress ! great job !
I think the first one is growing, sneaking out the top of the bodice, and is planning on eating her. It’s alive!!!
me whant it so much lol
omg i love the 1st dress please be myn for my prom
