SnUggs: the bastard lovechild of Crocs and Uggs

Crocs_uggs

It had to happen sooner or later, didn’t it? And once again, we find ourselves wishing we had been flies on the wall when the marketing geniuses at Aussie Sole came up with the inspired idea of sticking an Ugg boot to a Croc, and calling it a "SnUgg".  We’d imagine the chain of thought went something like this:

Uggs = ugly. But people still want to buy them.

Crocs = even uglier. But some people go nuts for them!

Therefore, it stands to reason that Uggs + Crocs = Ka Ching!

And a new form of hideous footwear is born. Sadly, what the marketing bods at Auusie Sole added Crocs and Uggs together and got "money", what they should have realised is that Uggs + Crocs actually = fashion police jail.

We’re sorry to be the ones to break it to them.

    OMG, THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!
I’M JUST DREAMING, AND WHEN I WAKE UP, I WON’T REMEMBER THIS NIGHTMARE… LALALAAAA!

  2. Line says:

NO OH NO OH NO OH NOOO!
I mean i don’t mind Uggs THAT much to be honest sometimes they can look good (still i don’t own a pair) but crocs no way and these two combined…
What do you think how long will it take until they make it teh otehr way round? the rubber part at the top and the ugg part around the feet (to keep them warmer) ?!?

  3. Diana says:

Does the croc part have the furry fabric or still keeps the smelly plastic inside? can´t believe this.

  4. amelia says:

If only it had those lovely flower things people stick to their croc, then I’d rush right out to buy a pair… (just kidding!)

  5. Han says:

At least they don’t have holes, right?

  6. Olivia says:

I looked at the picture and I almost had a heart attack. I KNOW that in a few months, everyone in my school will be wearing them. There are all suckers for ugly crocs and uggs.

  7. Cristina Aneiros says:

I guess it´s one way to keep the mud and water off your uggs (can you tell that it´s been raining where I am for the best part of a month?)
Not that I have ever or will ever own a pair of either uggs or crocs, but I´m going to take solace in the idea that this cross-breed was only ever for practical purposes.

  8. bookmole says:

OK. If these are fur lined, I want some for walking the dog over the park. But that’s the only time! And only if I can have pink plastic bits.

  9. Anna says:

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!1
