Mistaken Identity: Rosette heeled shoes from Hale Bob and Coast

shoes 2 Mistaken Identity: Rosette heeled shoes from Hale Bob and Coast

We suspect this is probably one of those "love it or loathe it" shoe styles, and while some will love these flower heeled shoes, others will find them totally nauseating, with all of those petals weighing them down at the back. Ours is not to question why shoe designers have suddenly started adding what appears to be entire bouquets to the backs of their shoes, though -ours is simply to point out the similarities between these two pairs of shoes by Hale Bob on the left ($119) and Coast on the right (£99). If you’d like to tell us whether you love our loathe ‘em, though, that would be nice, too.

  1. I like them both – the Hale Bob for the wonderful exuberance of the bouquet and the Coast ones for the rather more restrained, but totally wonderful monochrome. If I were buying, it would be the Coast so I could wear them with my new dress (black silk with bright pink embroidered roses!)

  2. I am looking for a pair of Hale
Bob shoes with a large flower. I can’t find them in the victoriassecret website…they were lime color…I need them because i have a flowershop…lol…HELp!

  3. OMG I love Hale Bob shoes but damn those need to go back to the warehouse and get redesigned. The coast……..well, the bow is pretty, jsut not on the shoes! Too much. But if u gonna pull this look off u must sell the shoes and nothing else, meaning pleeease wear everthing else that is simple, accessories, clothing etc..

  4. Between these two shoes, I prefer the Hale Bob better. The colors are more vibrant, and it looks more chic than the Coast shoe And, I agree with Ms. Pink, if you are going to wear this then keep everything else simple, simple, simple.
