We have a saying where I live: "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."
And it's true. We don't really have spring... it is more like alternating days of summer and winter. It is warm outside right now (I was out walking in just a tank top), but it was snowing three days ago.
So I have been breaking out my summer clothes... but I haven't put my winter ones away yet either.

Saturday morning I had to remove my hoodie mid-dog-walk, and today and yesterday I replaced my boots with flat canvas pumps. Also, on Saturday afternoon I was wandering the village in my flip flops and a cami/cardi combination, but only through laziness - I put proper shoes on to actually go shopping! I think we're getting there, but haven't actually arrived just yet!

I'm from Cornwall and it's brass monkeys here still. Today I went out without a coat for the first time, and nearly froze to death before being caught in a shower, so I'll be wrapped up warm for a while longer yet. So many sundresses wasting away in the dark recesses of my wardrobe...

I'm in Austin, TX so I'm right there with Shelly...it is mostly summer here. however, it doesn't really matter what the temp is outside as I'm confined to my office most of the day where it is always freezing. As far as my coworkers are conerned I wear the same thing every day: a brown hoodie for a top a fuzzy blue blanket as a skirt.

I'm still layering, but lighter layers, like my new Zara trench over a nice top, instead of top, sweater, coat, scarf, gloves and peeking out like Kilroy.

I live in New Orleans so the warm weather clothes start making an appearance around February. (I wore a sleeveless dress for Valentine's Day.) It tends to go back and forth until the end of March, so I will be in flip flops and shorts one day and sweaters and pants the next. What I wait until the official summer season to wear is madras, seersucker, and white shoes/purses.

It has snowed a few times in the last few weeks here in Western Canada. We still need to our winter stuff.
