I have a sense of humor and love to hear the responses. However, I think people may be interested in what I was thinking about when I started cutting out pants. I like the rip pants look and thought it could look better by cutting out rather than ripping the pants. I love women and I especially love how the ripped look exposes female skin in various areas along the leg. This man loves womens legs. So rather than rip, why not cut out the legs of pants in various shapes and patterns to show womens skin in complentary shapes and patterns. You can see that cutting different shapes creates an endless variety of pants leg styles and looks. The actual pant you see is not finished, but I think the idea is revolutionary. I wish I could work with a seamstress that can really show you how beautiful some of these styles are? Thanks again Eric.

Thank you very much for talking about my style, whether good or bad! I have a sense of humor and love to hear the responses. My work is a little amateur, but I dont have a lot of people in the fashion business living in Minnesota to work with. I do work with a seamstress in Minneapolis for my shirts, but she cannot help with my other ideas. Thanks fashion police for showing my work and I personally believe you are seeing the future of fashion. With a little bit of guidance from a manufacturer, advice from a professional, and a little luck you may see the most innovative designer in the history of menswear come from the USA. A designer does not need to European to be avant guarde. Embrace the future and Dare to Wear Different. Eric. www.ericglennie.com
There is a lot more than cutaway pants on my website to talk about.

What I am showing are prototypes of cutout and cutaway styling for pants, hats, ties, shirt collars, and shirts. It's not one of the historical styles I personally would like to se ecome back, however.

The last style can be found quite often in early 16th century Germany (and in other areas influenced by german style), where very tight hosen frequently were slahsed over the knees, thighs and buttocks.<br

Raluca, those girls clearly are in need of attention if they have to wear those pants!

There is absolutely nothing revolutionary about what this guy does. Not only that, but they’re hideous!<br

This guy thinks he has reinvented the wheel, but he obviously doesn't understand that some things haven't been made before because they are just - stupid.
For instance, I actually thought baseball caps were made to keep the sun out of your eyes? So WHY cut a big hole in it?

Because, as art, it's kind of interesting to look at, but there's no way anyone in their right mind would actually wear this.

Please tell me this is an installation in an art gallery, and that the artist doesn’t actually expect people to put these atrocities on their bodies.<br
