Crime of Fashion: Peep toe gladiator boots

This crime of fashion was called in by Fashion Police Officer Ma’at, and it actually left us speechless – and blind – for quite some time.

These boots are actually committing multiple offenses here. Not only are they peep toe boots – something we just can’t take into our hearts, no matter how hard we try – they’re also peep toe boots with no heel.  And they’re lace-ups. We’ve described them as "gladiator boots" above, but that’s actually not quite right, because no gladiator worth their loincloth would ever have worn these, and because those hooks and eyes look more like the kind of thing found on hiking boots to us. Of course, on hiking boots, they’d be totally acceptable. On high heel peep toe boots? All kinds of wrong.
