Dress of the Day: Alexander McQueen wing embroidered dress

Alexander_macqueen_2   And now for something completely different… This is Alexander McQueen’s wing embroidered dress. It comes to us direct from the runway and, let’s face it, some of you are going to think it should just have stayed there.

Not us, though. No, we love to look at this dress, which is not to say that we’d like to wear it – it would give us shoulders like Buzz Lightyear and we’re not completely down with that, but as we said, we do like to look at it, and imagine the kind of person who might wear it, and the kind of event they’d wear it to.

If that person is you, you’re going to need £3.960 to buy it, and you’ll find it at Net-a-Porter.

Alexander McQueen is always incredible. I love this collection too

I don’t know. It looks more like costume design. I appreciate the creativity, but perhaps might enjoy a white feathery knit, instead. More like a shawl, too.

looks like angels’ wings to me
