Wanted! 50’s style full skirts from Oasis

50s_style

Every summer, The Fashion Police find themselves seduced by the lure of full-skirted, 50s style skirts, just like these ones from Oasis, which make us want to pull on a pair of bobby socks and head down to the local record hop. Well, maybe without the bobby socks bit…

These skirts are very fun and feminine, and if you don’t want to look like an extra from Grease, you can wear them, like the ASOS model, with nude or tan coloured sandals and a simple little top. Then you can spin round like a dancer and watch those skirts twirl!

I totally looooove full-skirts, I think they can be very flatering for almost all body shapes, but I seriously hate that flower print

  2. Orla says:

I want one of these so much it made me frown at my own bank balance.
Yes, the print is rather twee, but that’s all the more reason why they’re convincingly 50s.
I’d totally go for the bobby socks too might I add.

  3. Steph says:

I want a circle skirt, and these are lovely, but I don’t own a single top that would suit the floral pattern. I don’t really do pastels.

  4. Amelia says:

The pattern is hideous (pastel AND florals?!) but the style is lovely. I love the 50s look, but I prefer the high waisted pencil skirts with a waist belt.
