Stiletto snow boots: WHY?

Red_snow_boots  When apprehending crimes of fashion, there are some items we just have to turn a blind eye to. Snow boots are one of those items because, well, they’re snow boots. They’re not meant to be pretty, and there are some occasions in life when even The Fashion Police would be forced to admit that comfort, warmth, and not breaking a leg come before style: walking around in snow and ice being one of them.

None of this applies to these boots, however. By adding a pointed toe and stiletto heel to the mix, these boots have effectively rid themselves of the "ugly but practical" tag that would have saved them from Fashion Police jail. Instead, they’re marking themselves out as "fashion items" and, as such, we have no alternative but to take them into custody.

The straw that broke The Fashion Police’s backs? The wearing of the stiletto snow boots with bare legs and a mini skirt. Because that’s going to work out really well in the snow…

Oooh but over jeans they’d be cute!
Of course, I live in Florida so I’m probably not looking for the same thing in a snow boot.

  2. Megan says:

I like them. I live in Montreal (Canada) where we’re getting meters of snow this winter… but in the summer when it’s gorgeous, people wear their winter boots out too, with skirts just like this. Remember the furry boots that were all the rage a while back? I’d wear these boots (cept I’m not a fan of the pointed toe), especially if it was raining out!

  3. Amaris says:

i honestly love them…i like the red and mayb paired with black tights or like miss britt said with jeans would be lovely and you don’t have to wear them in the snow…just any wintery blustering day would do fine too right?

  4. Diana says:

I can“t imagine walking on snow with THAT STILETTO BOOTS..and hello! not even in summer!

  5. Chica says:

    stiletto…in the snow…
hmmm isn’t that like wearing stilettos on the beach? ie really stupid?!

  6. scatha says:

I think this looks damn sexy ! Not in warm summer, but on colder summer days or even in warmer winter.

  7. Cassie says:

    I really do love these!
I dont know whats appealing about them tbh.
Just the fact that you can still look striking in the snow – instead of those big clumpy shapeless boots!
