Whodunnit? Marc Jacobs’ ad campaign spoofed!

Marc_jacobs

The Fashion Police love a good mystery, and we reckon it’s time to call in our top detectives to investigate the identities of the mysterious New Enthusiasm – the jolly japesters who’ve created spoofs of a Marc Jacobs advertising campaign, creating Juergen Teller-esque photos with Marc Jacobs’ logo next to them. Who are these mysterious Bjorn and McEnroe lookalikes? Why did they do it? Will we ever know the answers?

Well, if they did it for the publicity, they’ve certainly managed that alright. Marc Jacobs representatives say they have no connection with the images and don’t know who’s behind them. We think it was Prof Plum in the library with the candlestick – what do you reckon?

According to Fashionista.com, the NY creative team Hart+Larsson (http://www.hartlarsson.com) created the ads.
