Dress of the Day: Ditsy floral tea dress from ASOS

Teadress

Floral print tea dresses are another Spring trend that could be accused of becoming dangerously overdone, but as the weather hasn’t actually allowed us to wear any of them yet, we’re still finding ourselves drawn to pieces like this ditsy floral tea dress from ASOS, which is £28.

Unlike star print, of course, which will start to look seriously "summer 2008" in around October this year, floral print is almost always around as a summer dress trend, so although Kate Moss did manage to make it explode a little this season, with high street designers all hoping for their own versions of the Pansy Print dress of yesteryear, those of you who like to get more than one season’s wear out of your clothes may find it a better option. And, of course, it works for Autumn, and even winter, too, if you warm it up with boots, tights and cardis.
