We’re having a Miss Selfridge moment. You may remember them from such ‘Dress of the Days’ as ‘Lemon Pleated Collar Dress’ and ‘Floral Print Dress’, but today Miss Selfridge bring us ‘ Drop Pocket Dress’. When will the madness end?

This is a bit of a strange one for us to be nominating for Dress of the Day, admittedly. For one, it would almost certainly make our hips look bigger than they ought to be, courtesy of the eponymous drop pockets. For two, although the dress itself sits on the natural waist, the patent belt sits above the waist and just under the bust, which sounds like it shouldn’t work, but somehow does.

Despite these two points, though, we love it. If you love it too, then please don’t hate us when we tell you it’s currently out of stock on the website, but you may just get lucky and be able to find it in store.
