Strange Shoes: Niara Lace-Up Wedge Sandal by Acne Jeans

Ugly_shoes When a pair of shoes is this ugly, we’d generally expect them to have something else going for them, something that would make people want to buy them despite their appearance. Like, maybe the shoes could clean your floors for you, or be SO! COMFY! like our old friends, the Crocs.

As far as we can tell, that isn’t the case with these lace-up wedges by Acne Jeans. We think they’re just ugly. What do you think?

These are ugly but they probably wouldn’t look so bad in another color. Like black. Maybe…

Whoever posted this needs to take a second look at these. The design of these shoes is wonderful. I saw Chloe Sevigny walking in the east village wearing these in black.

yeah i have to disagree too. i think they are really cool looking…some shoes aren’t for everyone but people that appreciate something different/edgy would more likely go for these. there have been a lot of cut-outs and wedges lately so something that combines the two is pretty genius IMO.
